Flowers have always been the
traditional, much-loved gift for husbands to give to wives on their
anniversaries.
It is important to note that two lists of anniversary gifts are
available. The traditional one was probably created during the Victorian
Age when symbolic gifts were all the rage. The second, more contemporary
list was created by an association of jewelers in 1937. Although the
lists co-exist, more people are familiar with and tend to prefer the
traditional one listed here. |
